At CasCade Automation Systems B.V. we deliver a very diverse scope of platinum resistance thermometers (PRTs) of the company AccuMac. These can be used for the calibration of reference standards which in turn are used for the calibration of measurement equipment.
Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs) are used to interpolate temperature in the range of -189.3442°C to 660.323°C on the international temperature scale of 1990 (ITS-90). They are widely used as standard or reference thermometers for calibration of other thermometers and to measure temperature very accurately in primary and secondary laboratories. The AM1950 and AM1960 SPRTs are the crown juwels under the AccuMac temperature sensors. Tens of years of scientific knowledge and craftmanship are necessary to produce these world-class products. They have a very low drift. The measurement element and the sensor are fitted with a special support. All parts are intensively cleaned before mounting to prevent contamination on the platinum measurement wires at high temperature. Also during the mounting care is taken that the sensor will not be contaminated. A special gas mix in the thermometer prevents oxidation of the sensor wires as much as possible. Every SPRT is fully tested for stability after fabrication. These world-class sensors comply to the ITS-90 criteria for standard thermometers. Yet they are competitively priced.
